How to use this database

  1. Search or filter. Type a mod name into the search box, then narrow the results by game, category and source. Sort by most downloaded, most endorsed or followed, or name.
  2. Open the quick view. Each result card shows the author’s own short summary and a link to the mod’s official page. Results load 24 per page, with page buttons to move through them.
  3. Save or share your view. Your filters stay in the page address, so you can bookmark a filtered list or send it to a friend. To focus on one game, open its database page and check its top 100 table.

About the data

Listings come from the public Nexus Mods API (v2 GraphQL), the public Modrinth API and the public Thunderstore API, and they refresh weekly. We track up to the 400 most-downloaded mods per game on Nexus Mods and up to the 300 most-downloaded packages per game on Thunderstore. On Modrinth, we track the 1,000 most-downloaded projects in each of four types: mods, modpacks, shaders and resource packs. That is why Minecraft coverage goes beyond plain mods.

We leave out adult content, cheats for online play, piracy tools such as cracks and DLC unlockers, and injectors. Mod names and summaries belong to their authors. We list them and send you to each official page, so creators get the visit and the download.
