These terms explain how you can use m0use Mods (m0use.net) and what you can expect from us in return. We’ve kept them short and in plain English. By using this site, you agree to them.

Who we are
m0use Mods is a new, independent website about video game mods. We publish guides, explainers, news and commentary for players who like to customise their games. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “this site” mean m0use Mods. “You” means anyone visiting or reading the site.
We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any game developer, publisher, platform holder or mod hosting service unless we clearly say so on a specific page.
Using our content
Everything on this site is provided for personal, informational use. You’re welcome to read it, share links to it and use it to help you mod your own games.
You may not:
- Copy or republish our articles, in whole or in large part, on another website, app or publication without our written permission.
- Present our work as your own.
- Scrape or bulk-download the site to build a competing resource, dataset or product.
Short quotes with clear credit to m0use Mods are fine.
Mods are used at your own risk
Modding involves changing game files, and things can go wrong. A mod can crash your game, corrupt a save, conflict with other mods or stop working after a game update. Some games and online services prohibit modifications, and using them in online or competitive modes can lead to account restrictions or bans.
Before installing anything, we strongly recommend that you:
- Back up your save files and game folder.
- Read the game’s own terms and end user license agreement (EULA).
- Check whether the mod is allowed in the mode you plan to play, especially online.
- Download files only from sources you trust, and scan them for malware.
We do not create, host or distribute cheat tools, trainers or mod menus designed for online play, and we don’t support using mods to gain an unfair advantage over other players.
Any decision to install, run or remove a mod is yours, and so is the responsibility for the outcome.
No professional advice
Our guides reflect our own testing, research and opinions. They are not professional technical, legal or financial advice. If you have a serious problem with your hardware, software, account or legal rights, contact the relevant company or a qualified professional.
Accuracy and changes to content
We work hard to keep our information correct and current. Still, games and mods change quickly. Patches, new versions and removed files can make a guide out of date overnight.
We don’t guarantee that every article is complete, accurate or up to date at the moment you read it. We may edit, update or remove any content at any time without notice. If you spot an error, we’d genuinely like to hear about it.
External links and third-party sites
Some pages may point to other websites, such as official game pages or mod hosting platforms. We include these because we think they’re useful, but we don’t control those sites.
We are not responsible for their content, availability, downloads, privacy practices or terms. Visiting them is your choice, and their own rules apply once you’re there.
Trademarks and game content
Game titles, logos, characters, screenshots, artwork and other game assets belong to their respective owners. Mods belong to the creators who made them. Any mention of these on our site is for identification, commentary, review or educational purposes, and does not imply ownership or endorsement.
If you own rights to something on this site and believe it’s being used improperly, please contact us and we’ll review it promptly.
Acceptable use
When using this site, please don’t:
- Break any applicable law.
- Try to hack, overload, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems.
- Upload or send malware, spam or harmful code.
- Post content that is abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit or that infringes someone else’s rights, if we offer comments or other ways to contribute.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your connection to anyone.
We may remove content or block access for anyone who ignores these rules.
Comments and submissions
If we offer comments, contact forms or other ways to send us material, you are responsible for what you submit. By sending us tips, corrections or other content, you give us permission to use, edit and publish it in connection with the site. Please don’t send anything you don’t have the right to share.
Limitation of liability
This site is provided “as is”. We don’t promise it will always be available, error-free or free of bugs.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using this site or relying on its content. That includes lost saves, damaged game installs, hardware or software issues, account bans, lost data or lost time. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot legally be excluded.
Privacy
How we handle any personal information is covered separately in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example when we add new features or the law changes. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after an update, that means you accept the revised terms.
